2025 School Days Dance

Thank you for unforgettable night at the 2025 School Days Dance!

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended the 2025 School Days Dance: Sweetheart Edition! It was a magical evening filled with nostalgia, laughter, and generosity, all in support of the ECU Foundation and Pocket Change Grants. Over 75 Pocket Change grant recipients joined us to celebrate local educators. Guests enjoyed a delicious dinner, struck a pose at the photo booth, and hit the dance floor to relive the joy of high school dances. Many took part in exciting activities like send-a-rose, an alcohol pull and vying for some fabulous door prizes. And of course, we crowned our Sweetheart King and Queen: Stephanie Donnell, a teacher at Bushland Intermediate, and her husband.

Thanks to your support, we raised $35,547.00 to help fund grants for Texas Panhandle teachers, ensuring they have the resources they need for their classrooms. Stay tuned for more events from the ECU Foundation!

Community Involvement

Community Partnerships

Featured Partnership:
StoryBridge

StoryBridge puts books in the hands of children, helping them grow up with a love of reading. Education Credit Union Foundation is proud to partner with them as the exclusive sponsor of their Summer Storytime program.

The StoryBridge crew organizes weekly events over nine weeks each summer so kids can learn about the great people and organizations that support our community—like our friends at Wildcat Bluff Nature Center and first responders like our firefighting heroes and the AMS/LifeStar team. A group of ECU Certified Financial Counselors join the StoryBridge team each week for a read-aloud and fun activity. Every child that comes to Summer Storytime gets to select a book from the StoryBridge book trailer to take home.

StoryBridge Summer Storytime is FREE for all children and their families who attend the events!

Being a part of such an event that helps provide free, educational enrichment during long summer days is just another part of the “Learn More. Give More.” difference!
